Here Come the Hawks, the Mighty Blackhawks

When I was in high school, the Chicago Blackhawks were becoming a pretty good team again. One of their leaders was Al Secord. For 7 seasons in Chicago, he was feared for his scoring and for his physical presence. By the late 80's the team was changing and he was traded to Toronto. He returned to the Hawks a few seasons later and finished his career with the Chicago Wolves of the IHL.
When I met Secord at a convention in Rosemont, he looked more like an accountant, than the Big Al I remembered. Still, I don't think I'd want to mix it up with him.
