The wrestling card was very entertaining. The action was paced well and had a nice mix of brawling, high-flying, technical and even a little hardcore wrestling. The wrestlers put a lot into their matches to make it a great time.
The night didn't end there, though. The after party was a blast, too. The wrestling talent posed for pictures and signed autographs, while selling their merchandise. All of the wrestlers were very approachable and fan-friendly. It was such a great experience.
I was happy to meet Hallowicked, one of the more unique wrestlers. Hallowicked (along with childhood friend and fellow RPW mate Icarus) was trained by Mike Quackenbush and Reckless Youth of Chikar. He debuted in May 2002 at Chikara's debut event and has been on the rise since.
He has held the IWA Deep South Heavyweight Championship, along with the NAWF (once) and PWE (twice) tag team titles. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked him #265 of the top 500 in 2009.
