Celeb Jersey Cards #105 Nicklas Lidstrom & Charles Woodson

This is a regular series which attempts to combine my passion for bubblegum cards with my interest in celebrities.  Since I just returned from Detroit and the Motor City Comic Con, I thought I would feature some Detroit-themed Celebrity Jersey Cards.

Born in Sweden, Nicklas Lidstrom has carved out a Hall of Fame career during his 20 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings.  He has won four Stanley Cups, seven Norris trophies, one Conn Smythe award and been an All-Star twelve times.  He also won a gold medal in the Olympics and the World Championships.  Lidstrom stayed true to his Detroit adopted home by donning the Tigers jersey for his Celebrity Jersey Card.

Charles Woodson was born in Ohio, but went to the University of Michigan.  His fourteen (and counting) year NFL career started with the Oakland Raiders and then moved onto the Green Bay Packers and will eventually lead him to Canton and the Football Hall of Fame.  Although he has never played professionally in Detroit, Woodson threw out a first pitch and earned a Celebrity Jersey Card for himself.
