On the Beat with Butch Patrick at the 2012 MCCC

Yesterday, we featured Bill Mumy, of tv's Lost in Space.  Today, we are featuring Butch Patrick, perhaps best known for his role as Eddie Munster on tv's The Munsters from the same time era.
I met Patrick years ago at a Chicago convention, but at the 2012 Motor City Comic Con, I had the opportunity to interview him.
During his childhood, Patrick worked steadily as a regular, recurring or one time character on many tv shows.  Along with The Munsters, one of my childhood favorites was Lidsville, with Patrick, Billie Hayes and Charles Nelson Reilly.
One of his latest projects is Butch Patrick Presents the Munsters.com, a site full of Munsters stories, pictures, info and anything else you would want.  This site is a Munsters' fan's dream.  I have spent many hours going from one link to another on the site.  It brings back so many great memories and laughs.
During the interview, we talked to Patrick about working with some legendary stars, having a baseball player (Ken Hunt) as his stepfather and his current projects.  After watching the interview, go to Munsters.com to learn more about Patrick and the Munsters and to get updates.  You can also go to Butch Patrick's Facebook page, Butch Patrick II Facebook page and follow him on twitter.
I really appreciate Patrick taking a few minutes to talk to us.  He had a long and steady line of fans waiting to meet him, yet he still gave us his time.  It was a real pleasure.
