On opening day of Wizard World 2012, Matt and I were scoping out the artist alley, when some great Chicago sports illustrations caught our eyes. It's not often you see amazing sketches of the Chicago Blackhawks. Matt took the lead and talked to Tony Santiago the very talented artist who created these sports goodies.
We learned that Tony's work is not limited to just sports. His portfolio also includes comic art, children's book illustrations, American Dog, pencil sketches and iPad drawings. That is quite an array.
Among other things we learned, Tony stated that he got many ideas at Wizard World and would be doing a lot of new stuff. Hopefully, we will meet up with Tony again and see what new art he has created. (Hopefully, Aquaman will be appearing in his future work.)
You can hear all about that and the rest of his work in the interview below. After watching it, head over to TSIllustration.com to get all of the info on Tony Santiago.
