C2E2 With Gene Ha

At C2E2 2015, I had a bit of a tour guide in Dick Griffiths II.  Affectionately know as "Chain Male" around Resistance Pro, DGII pointed me in the direction of some of his favorite artists, including Gene Ha.
Born in Chicago, but raised in South Bend, IN, Gene Ha is a comics artist and writer.  His resume is lengthy and impressive, as is the list of awards.  He has taken home four Eisner awards, among other hardware.  He has worked for DC Comics, Marvel Comics and others.
At C2E2, Ha was mostly promoting his current project, a graphic novel entitled Mae.  It is the story of 13 year old Abbie, who left home for adventure in another world.  She left behind her sister Mae and her ailing father.  Eight years later Abbie returns.  Of course, Mae's voyage was not trouble-free and neither is her return.
Ha has created a Mae Kickstarter page to help get this project funded.  The page has a more thorough description of Mae, including sneak previews and lots of other info.  It is one of the best Kickstarter pages I have seen Mae looks awesome!  There is still time to donate to the Mae project and jump on the bandwagon.  The Kickstarter project ends May 27.
You can also go to GeneHa.com to learn more about this talented artist and to get updates.  Much like his Kickstarter page, his website is very chock-full of information.
