Athletes get trading cards. Why not celebrities? At least celebrities wearing athletic jerseys should get cards. I am doing my best to create cards for jersey-clad celebs. Today, I feature a couple Red Hot Chili Peppers (or should I say
Reds Hot Chili Peppers?.
Guitarist Josh Klinghoffer comes from Los Angeles, CA. He joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2007. Klinghoffer gets bonus points for his Celebrity Jersey Card for wearing a full baseball uniform (although probably not regulation Reds gear) and for taking swings in the batting cage.
A native of St. Paul, MN, Chad Smith joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988. The drummer gets extra points for taking fielding practice and appearing with a glove and baseball on his Celebrity Jersey card. I also find the feet on the outfield wall to be humorous for some reason.
