Seasons in the Sun

It's the best time of year! It's softball season again!  Unfortunately, I am not playing.  In fact, my days of regularly playing are probably over.
I know the picture below defies modern digital picture-taking capabilities, but I love it nonetheless. The graininess reminds me of pictures of yesteryear. This is what happens when a technologically challenged catcher takes a quick snapshot with a disposable camera on an overcast evening.  The picture is a microcosm of our team. It might not be the best and might look a little old, but it's was lot of fun!
I had a lot of fun playing for over 20 years.  It's never easy giving up something you enjoy, but guys got married, had kids, moved away or lost interest.  That's life.  I am just grateful for the good times I had.
