This is a regular series which attempts to combine my lifelong passion for trading cards with my semi-professional interest in celebrities. We continue working our way alphabetically through Major League Baseball.
Golfer Paul Azinger was born in Massachusetts, but he is sporting a Tampa Rays jersey for his Celebrity Jersey Card. I am assuming this was during some tournament or perhaps just during a break in his schedule. Either way, I had to bend the time continuum a bit, since the Rays were not around when the 1982 Topps cards were issued.
In another bending of the time continuum, I created a 1978 Celebrity Jersey Card for George Wendt. A native of Chicago, Wendt rose to fame on a show about a bar in Boston. None of that explains Wndt's connection to Tampa, yet there he is in a Rays jersey.

I was looking at celebrity first pitches on Google Images and saw awesome George Wendt and thought you should do a card of him. Then I saw that you already had. I'm only two years late. Norm!
