Freezer Mortis at Days of the Dead Chicago 2016

What better place for a horror host to make an appearance than Days of the Dead.  At the recent DotD in Chicago, I met Freezer Mortis, host of Formerly Crappics and proud member of The Church of Ed Wood..
The stated mission of Formerly Crappics is "to bring to the forefront (however briefly that may be) some of cinema's less-than-memorable movies for your viewing pleasure."  That could be said for most of these type shows.  Nobody said the concept was original, but the key is to make the content original and entertaining and Freezer Mortis does just that.
It's hard to stand out in a field so crowded with over-the-top characters, but even at DotD (which is filled with larger than life characters), he managed to stand out.
He isn't your typical horror host.  I mean no disrespect to other hosts though.  I actually like many of the hosts I have seen.  I generally like this whole genre.
I hope to see Freezer Mortis at a future event.  I would definitely get an in-person interview with him.  If that happens, of course, I will feature it here.
Until then, check out the Freezer Mortis Facebook page for more info on this horror host.  Also, you can find him at Formerly Crappics on LiveStream.  You can also catch his shows on HorrorHost.net.
Freezer Mortis and me in Schaumburg, IL-November 2016.
