Johngy and The Brain

Bobby 'the Brain' Heenan is a wrestling lifer. Heenan has done it all and seen it all in his 40+ years in the wrestling business. His passion for the sport made him a solid wrestler. His verbal skills made him a great mouthpiece for wrestlers during his years managing. His quick wit made him a treat when he was a broadcaster. His love for his wife of 30+ years, his adult daughter and the fans make him a really special person.
Heenan has written 2 books, Bobby the Brain:Wrestling's Bad Boy Tells All and Chair Shots and Other Obstacles:Winning Life's Wrestling Matches. Filled with Heenan's humor, warmth and knowledge, these books are real winners!
Heenan has suffered from throat cancer and some dental issues over the last few years. I am happy to say that all of these problems seem to be behind him and he is well on the road to a full recovery.

I had the honor of meeting Heenan for the first time in Las Vegas. I asked him if I could take a picture of him. He and his wife immediately volunteered to include me in the picture with Mrs. Heenan taking the shot. Now that is above and beyond being fan-friendly.
Unfortunately, Heenan recently passed away after years of health issues.  He didn't let it all get him down though.  His spirit and "brain" were just as lively as ever!  RIP Brain.
