Actor and stuntman Kane Hodder is best known for portraying Jason Voorhees in four films from the Friday the 13th film series. He also has done stunt work as Leatherface and appeared as Freddy Kruger's gloved hand.
He is a frequent and very popular celebrity guest at the Days of the Dead conventions. I would never believe that he remains this popular after doing so many of the events, yet there is always a lengthy line waiting to meet him. I'm not knocking hin at all. It's just that usually there is a point of saturation, but Hodder defies that rule. Even the other celebrities want to meet him.
For his part, Hodder is a great guest. He never tires of putting people in choke holds or posing naturally. I'd say he knows how to work the crowd, but I think it is just natural for him. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy.
Hodder appeared at the recent DotD in Chicago and his line was long again throughout the event. The next DotD is in Atlanta on February 2-4 and Hodder will probably be there and he'll probably have a long line again.
