Scott Blair at C2E2 2017

C2E2 is coming March 22-24 and I will be "On the Beat" as always. Until then, I am recalling some of the fun I have had over the years at C2E2.
I first met Scott Blair years ago at C2E2. Scott was creating some beautiufl pieces with the women of wrestling. Sketching beautiful women, while discussing wrestling sounds like a great job to me, but of course, it does require legit work and talent.
Scott focuses mainly on digital painting, Basically, he scans his original drawings and digitally paints them. The results are amazing. In addition to wrestling, he has covered many areas of pop culture.
One of my favorite pieces is a recent one honoring wrestler Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart who passed away last year. Mainly using 4 colors, Scott captured the essence of one of the most colorful wrestlers of the era.
Scott's volume of work limits is ability to do commissions, but if you are lucky to catch him at a comic con, you might be able to get one. I definitely want Scott to do his version of the "Johngy" character.
