Caitlin Jo Burke of the Denver Dream

Caitlin Jo Burke is another perfect example of the typical Chicago Bliss player.  CJB is young, attractive, athletic, outgoing and dedicated.  I had the pleasure of interviewing her right after she made the Bliss roster in 2015.  My first interview with her can be found at On the Beat with Caitlin Jo Burke of the Chicago Bliss.
Like the rest of the Bliss, CJB practiced extremely hard (usually at least twice a week) for many months to be ready for the games.  As a rookie on the defending LFL champs, CJB did not see much action.  In fact, the wide receiver caught only one pass, but it was for a touchdown.
This is how it is in the LFL, especially on a stacked team like the Bliss.  The rookies must be patient and make the most of their limited opportunities.
CJB recently moved to Denver, CO and joined the LFL Denver Dream. She will bring the same passion and dedication to the Mile High team. Unfortunately, the Dream doesn't come to Chicago this season, but I'll be following her from here. Good luck CJB!
