Tornado Toth At Motor City Comic Con 2017

The Motor City Comic Con was scheduled for late May, but obviously was postponed. The MCCC is always a fun con. I have been to the MCCC enough times to develop "con friendships" with the regulars, one of whom is Tornado Toth.
I first met Tornado and his young daughters in 2009. Peri and Layne were budding comic book creators, among other things. The young girls were extremely busy and very talented. Since then, I have followed their exploits on line and we catch up at every MCCC.
A couple years ago, Peri was doing interviews at MCCC. We tried to do some joint ventures there, but it didn't work out. Still, I hope to work with Peri at a future MCCC. It would be such a kick to go from meeting the young girl to working with the young lady.
It just shows the type of bonds that can grow from these cons. How else would I be connected to a random Michigan family like the Toth family?
While the MCCC and other cons have fascinating celebrities, fun cosplayers, great vendors and more, the friendships and bonds made along the way really make the events special.I miss the celebs and the fun of the cons, but I miss my con friends even more.
Go to MotorCityComicCon.com for more info and follow MCCC on Facebook for more frequent updates.
