Cards That Never Were: Mike Squires Hostess 1976

Cards That Never Were is a recurring series in which I create virtual trading cards for players missed in various sets over the years.  It is a concept I have borrowed from far too many to list, but I thank them all.
Mike Squires is one of my favorite players of all time. In previous posts, I created his missing Topps baseball cards. Hostess had a line of baseball cards from 1975 through 1979. They were done in 3-card panels or solo and included in their snack products.  Since you couldn't get them any other way, it was hard to really collect them.  I had a few over the years. Because there was a much smaller number of cards than in a Topps set, only stars (or at least a team's best few players). The White Sox had Wilbur Wood, Rich Gossage, Jorge Orta, Bucky Dent Terry Forster and Carlos May. That was already a large number for one team. As Squires was only a rookie in 1975 and he didn't play much, he didn't get a Hostess card. I had to rectify that.
