Dominique Collins at Northwestern

I miss seeing Dominique Collins. At one point, I saw her a couple times a week at football practice, but I haven't seen her in years. Could this pic really be the last time I saw her?

I first met DC many years ago at my first Legends Football League game, which featured the Chicago Bliss. I met the Bliss PR person and he set up some player interviews. DC was the first one.

At the time, DC had an interesting hairstyle, featuring a partially shaved side with some artwork (?) detail. I'm probably not describing it great, but it was different an looked pretty cool. I actually asked her about it in the interview and I think she might have thought I was poking at it a bit, but I wasn't. I sincerely thought it was interesting. Dominique is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. She is also one of the sweetest, funniest, and toughest. I would go into battle any time with DC. Of course, I'd rather go to lunch and recall old times.

Tyler is a lucky man, but I sure he is a good man. Actually they are both lucky to have found each other. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

I am sure our paths will cross again somewhere and I hope to meet her mister, too. Until then, I thank DC for her friendship, a ton of great memories and several fun interviews!
