Ron English at New York Comic Con 2021

At New York Comic Con, I met artist Ron English for the first time. English is a contemporary artist, focusing on brand imagery, street art and advertising.
He has produced art on his own and for boks, movies, album covers and more. One of his original characters is MC Supersized, from the movie Super Size Me.
Multi-faceted, English has been known as a rebel. He has been involved in illegal public art campaigns. His goal is to inspire people to look at consumer capitalism. His creations can be bold and grotesque, but they capture your attention.
English is also a fine art painter. He earned a degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Texas.
All of this comes together to make him one of the most intriguing creators I have met. His line at NYCC was too long to even think about an interview, but he is certainly on my radar if given a chance in the future.
Go to Popaganda.com for more info on Ron and his creations. Check NewYorkComicCon.com for updates and scheduling on NYCC.
Ron English and me in New York, NY-October 2021.
