Lisa Marie Varon has been a body builder, fitness competitor, restaurant owner, wrestler and more. Recently, she added podcaster to her impressive resume.
Varon has teamed with SoCal Val and Mickie James to produce GAW TV (Grown A** Women TV). Lest you think it is all wrestling, the ladies discuss all aspects of life and have guests from many fields. It is as entertaining as the ladies were in their wrestling careers.
With no disrespect to the others, Varon is special to me. I was a regular diner at her restaurant in Chicago many years ago. I have met and interviewed her several times. She has put me in a few wrestling holds along the way. No matter the place or occasion, she is always such a sweetheart.
