I few months ago, I stumbled online upon musician Franki Pineapple. Liking her sound, I did some research. Like it even more, I requested her appearance on The Johngy "OR ELSE" podcast, which she graciously granted. Our interview is at The Johngy "OR ELSE" Podcast - Ep. 41: Franki Pineapple.
Franki has a great story. In her youth, she was not just discouraged from a musical career, she was told she had no musical ability at all. She embarked on a career which eventually led her to the music industry, but not as a performer. Perhaps serendipity, perhaps fate, that position helped her get started as a performer. Her story has some twists and turns, but it is a story of overcoming odds and being a success.
I was really impressed with Franki. Her openness, honesty, rawness and vulnerability combine with confidence, charisma, talent and personality to make a multi-dimensional, complex person. She was willing to show all sides in our interview, as she has in her music.
