Celebrity Jersey Cards #650 Jason Kidd & Chandler Parsons

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today, I continue my season-long alphabetical journey through all Major League Baseball teams.

Born in San Francisco, CA, Jason Kidd starred at the University of California. He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round (second overall) of the 994 NBA draft. He went on to a stellar 20 year career as a player and has been a coach since retiring in 2013. Currently the coach of the Mavs, Kidd finished his playing career third in triple-doubles in the regular season and in the playoffs. Kidd tossed a ceremonial pitch for the Texas Rangers to earn his Celebrity Jersey Card.

Florida native Chandler Parsons had an excellent career at the University of Florida, before being selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. The grandson of New York Knicks 1950 draft pick Don Parsons had a solid nine year NBA career playing for several teams, including two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks. Parsons shopwed his form while tossing a first pitch for the Rangers to earn his Celebrity Jersey Card.
