Happy Birthday, Sam!

Today I celebrate the birthday of my youngest niece. I have no idea where Sam is, but I am sure she is celebrating.

Usually, I have a general idea of where she is, either by her social media posts or where she lives, but she is also is all over the place. One might say she is a real global traveler.

I love and admire her adventurous spirit and courage. I still don't have the guts to travel like she does and I work for a travel magazine. She's smart, funny and such a sweetheart.

She also works in healthcare, not an easy profession, especially during the pandemic. For that I say, "Thank you for your service."

Who knows where she is going next, but I am sure it will be another great adventure and I will see it online. Until then, I wish her a happy birthday, as I raise a Coke from my boring couch.
