Celebrity Jersey Cards #677 Rick Jeanneret & Josh Lewin

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series featuring virtual cards I created for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today I feature older and newer broadcasters.

Born in Ontario, Rick Jeanneret was the play-by-play announcer for the Buffalo Sabres for 51 seasons. Retiring after the 21-22 season, Jeanneret had already been inducted into several Halls of Fame, including the Hockey HOF. Unfortunately, Jeanneret died about a year after his retirement. For his Celebrity Jersey Card, of course he is wearing a Sabres sweater.

New York-born Josh Lewin has "only" been a broadcaster since 1991. Although his 33+ years trail Jeanneret's longevity, Lewin is well on his way to a similarly lengthy career. Lewin has done broadcasting for the MLB, NFL, NHL, college football and basketball and more. For his Celebrity Jersey Card, Lewin sports a jersey of the Nashville Predators, while enjoying a slice of pizza. Now I am hungry.
