Celebrity Jersey Cards #701 Nathan Followill & Kelly Clarkson

Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, I continue a season-long march alphabetically through all MLB teams.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, musician Kelly Clarkson rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol in 2002, She is probably the most successful AI contestant. She has gone on to a great career, including 10 studio albums. She is also big in charities, including animals and education. Lastly, she was a favorite of little person Eric from Howard Stern's wack pack. For her Celebrity Jersey Crd, Clarkson did what she does best, singing for the Texas Rangers.

From Nashville, the Followill brothers and cousin Jared formed Kings of Leon band. The brothers are Caleb, Jared and Nathan, but I only found a picture of Nathan to use for Celebrity Jersey Cards. I'd bet the others were there, but I came up empty. Could Nathan have been there solo? Did it cause a rift in the band? Could this Celebrity Jersey Card create jealousy and in-fighting? Just a joke. The band is fine.
