Danhausen and Michaelhausen? This could be an interesting tagteam. Actually, these two have a fun connection.
Michael is the man behind Headlocked Comic, a fantastic comic series focused on the world of wrestling. Michael wanted to make a wrestling comic like no other. He wanted to make it realistic, but still larger-than-life and fun. Michael achieved his goal and blew right by it. Headlocked is an unquestioned success.
It is so successful, more and more wrestlers are getting involved. Whether they contribute stories, art or just support, the world of pro wrestling is behind Michael and rightly so.
So what about that connection I mentioned? Danhausen's father (Dadhausen?) Brian Danhausen is an author. Mostly focusing on horror and the supernatural, Brian's books are very popular with fans of those genres. The elder Danhausen is also very popular at comic cons, like Michael is.
I have had the pleasure of talking to both Danhausen's about the other, but I have yet to meet them together. That would be a fun experience. Hopefully someday, Johngyhausen will meet both.
