Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I make virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today we have two cross-sport stars.
Born in Fremont, California, Kristi Yamaguchi is a skating legend. She has won gold in the Olympics, World Championships and World Junior Championships. She also wrote a few highly-acclaimed children's books. She is married to former NHL player Bret Hedican, who played for several teams in his lengthy career, none of which were the San Jose Sharks, the team Yamaguchi repped for her Celebrity Jersey Card.
Pro golfer Alison Lee, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, was born in Los Angeles, California. She won twice on the Ladies European Tour. Last year, she was ranked 35th in the world. The previous year, she was at #20,her highest rank. Lee participated in the Shoot the Puck game for the Chicago Blackhawks, thus earning a Celebrity Jersey Card.
