At Northwestern, Sydney Supple was a dual threat on the softball diamond. She was 8-8 as a pitcher, while having a .245 batting average.
Actually, I believe she was a triple threat back then. That's when she started her broadcasting career.
Since then, Sydney has become quite a good broadcaster. She has done outstanding work for the Big 10 Network. She knows the game and explains it well.
Sydney has a bright future in the media field, if she continues that way. She's a bright young lady, who would succeed anywhere. Best of all, she is a class act and always super nice, like when I recently caught up with her at Northwestern.
I wish good luck to Sydney and I encourage softball fans to keep an eye out for her. She's just beginning what could be a fantastic, successful media career. Look for her on social media and my updates here.
