I first saw Serendipity live in Skokie a few years ago. I wanted to see them for a while and this was a mere two blocks from my home. Actually, I could hear them from my balcony, but I wanted to see them.
Serendipity is a Chicago-area cover band. They play covers from the 60s through present day. Serendipity consists of four women (Same, Kaylee, Josie and Michelle) up front and a male drummer (Kellen). Despite different styles and eras, they seamlessly blend the songs to make a unified set. On this night they did a disco mx and a Journey mini-set with their other songs.
