Friend Encounters: Angie Reinhart and Tony

Angie Reinhart
I have written several about singer Haley Reinhart. There's another Reinhart on the music scene, her sister Angie.
I first met Angie when she worked the merch booth at one of Haley's shows a few years back. More recently, I saw Angie and her father and mother (also musicians) join Haley on stage for a song. Most recently, I saw Angie and her band The Alright Maybes perform as the opener for Haley's show in Chicago.
Prior to that last show, I recognized Angie when she arrived. I waited until she was done talking to the merch guy and I asked her for a selfie and to sign a pic I took with her at Haley's previous show. She was really pleasant. I told her I liked her music (from listening to stuff online) and she seemed genuinely appreciative.
The Alright Maybes performed for about 30 minutes. They did a few new songs and some older ones they've done. The band was a bit edgier at times than Haley's music, but during softer songs, I really heard similarities between the two voices. I would love to her them do a duet or harmonize.
I am definitely looking for future shows. Go to TheAlrightMaybes.com for more info and show shecules.

Meeting Angie Reinhart (and Hoping for an Interview)
I have written many times about singer Haley Reinhart, one of my favorites. I have even written about her talented father, Harry Reinhart. Today, I am featuring another musical family member.
I have seen Haley's younger sister Angie a few times at Haley's concerts. Sometimes, she worked Haley's merch table. At the December show, Angie (father Harry and mother Patty) joined Haley on stage.for a song. It was the first time I saw the whole family on stage.
Angie is a musician, too. She is part of the Alright Maybes, a local band. Although I have not had the pleasure of seeing them in person, I have heard them many times via YouTube videos.
When Haley came out for pictures with fans after the show, the photog was Angie. I took the opportunity to tell her how much I enjoyed her music. A few days later, I asked her for a Zoom interview. She showed interest, but we have yet to schedule a date. (If Angie see this, let this serve as my public plea for that interview). Angie was just as sweet as Haley. This whole family is such a pleasure. They are immensely talented, but so down to Earth.
Soon, I will see Angie play at some venue in the Chicago area. Hopefully I will also get that interview.
Until then, check TheAlrightMaybes.com for more info on Angie. Keep checking here for that elusive interview.
