Haley Reinhart came first. Then father Harry followed, with sister Angie next. Finally at Northbrook Days, I met mother Patti. Now my Reinhart grand slam is complete. I have met the entire immediate family. What a family it is, too.
Haley appeared on American Idol and has gone on to an excellent career in the music industry. Her version of I Can't Help Falling in Love with You, done for a gum commercial, has gone double platinum. I have seen Haley perform many times, second only to the number of times I have seen Billy Joel.
Harry and Patti are awesome musicians in their own right. Harry has real guitar chops and both can belt out a tune.
Angie is lead singer of The Alright Maybes, a band who plays mostly in the Chicago area for now. They are very good and I see bigger things on their horizon.
Aside from their immense talent, they are great folks. Their closeness to each other is apparent and heartwarming. I love seeing them perform together in various combinations.
I look forward to many more nights of entertainment from any of the Reinharts. I also see a few more selfies in my fture.
