Taya Parker at Wizard World 2013

Wizard World is coming to the Columbus, OH October 18-20. I will be "On the Beat" there, but now I am recalling some of my favorite moments over the years.

Taya Parker is a model, television host, actress and more. Standing barely over five feet tall, she is a ball of energy.

Several years ago, Taya appeared at Wizard World as part of a cosplay event. I had the pleasure of interviewing her and that can be found at On the Beat With Taya Parker. She talked about her appearance there, which tied into her magic show in Las Vegas, her love for comic books, cosplay and more. In fact, her stage name comes from her favorite comic superhero Spiderman (aka Peter Parker).

Taya is a lot more than a pretty face. She was a real delight. This was just a fun, unexpected interview.

On the Beat with Taya Parker at Wizard World 2013

An attractive outgoing woman dressed as Zatanna is certainly enough to catch my attention, even when she is surrounded by hundreds of other characters.  I am talking about Taya Parker, who stood out among the regular chaos that is Wizard World.
Taya is a model, an actress, a singer and more.  Currently, she hosts and stars in "Centerfolds of Magic" at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  You probably have also seen her on MTV, where she was the winner of Rock of Love.
Taya was at Wizard World to help promote CosPlayStars.com.  She was joined by Tera Patrick and Nina Mercedez.  That is quite a trio of beautiful, talented, funny women.  That alone is enough to make me check out CosPlayStars.com, but once I got there, I had a great time wandering around the site.  There are a ton of great pictures.  Hopefully,. one of my pictures from Wizard World will pop up there someday.
Taya was awesome.  She was sweet, spirited and just plain fun in the interview.  I really appreciate her time in talking to us.
