Friendly Encounters

This is another in a series of meetings of my friends and celebs.

I am not sure of exactly how or when it happened, but my little buddy Jake has become a fan of wrestling and a collector of autographs. I know Jake has expressed some disappointment that he was not with his mom and me when we went to the Wrestle Reunion in 2005, despite the fact that Jake was too young at the time. Still, our stories about Mick Foley, Roddy Piper, Terry Funk and more might have spurred some of his interest.
Recently, Jake and his mom went to a PCW event, where Ricky Steamboat Jr. and Roddy Piper were appearing. Jake was excited to meet both. He is too young to have seen Piper or Ricky Steamboat in their prime, but he is a smart fan. He has heard our stories of meeting Ricky Steamboat and he was excited about meeting Ricky Jr.
