Friendly Encounters

This is another in a series of meetings of my friends and celebs.

About a week ago, I wrote a piece about my cousin Ernie. Today, I am featuring him in an old school Friendly Encounters-type photo. (I hope he doesn't kill me.)
Ernie was just a wee little guy, yet he somehow knew that someday he wanted to be a part of the phenomenon now known as Friendly Encounters. He gleefully posed with Hubert the Harris Bank Lion mascot in the basement of my childhood home. I think Hubert was bigger than Ernie.
I was about 10 when this picture was taken. I remember Ernie as a happy youngster. He always seemed to be having a good time.
I hope Ernie likes this piece and maybe it makes him laugh, too.

Great memories were had with my Hubert the Lion as well. I wonder where all the Huberts have gone ?
