A few years ago, I met Erin Moran at the CECE. I had never met Moran before, but grew up watching her grow up on tv's Happy Days. I also got to meet Moran's husband, who was accompanying her at her table. Actually, he became the photographer for the photo below.
The three of us discussed old tv for a few minutes, then a dealer came over and showed Moran an old Joanie doll from the 70's. They are pretty rare. Moran was happily surprised to see one and her husband seemed amused, too. It was pretty cool.
The CECE isn't a huge convention, but it is a great one. There are enough dealers for those interested in buying and selling collectibles. There are a handful of interesting media guests and they always give fans quality time.
