My sister Nancy and her husband Dave went on a trip to Michigan. While Nancy isn't quite sure which way they went, she does know they went through Green Bay (WI) at some point.
Nancy and Dave aren't really baseball fans, but they attended a baseball game in Green Bay. The Green Bay Bullfrogs beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in a battle of teams from the Northwoods League, a collegiate summer league.
Ever on the lookout for a Friendly Encounter, Nancy jumped at the chance to pose with Jeremiah the Bullfrog (do they have to pay royalties to Three Dog Night?) at the game. For a mascot, Jeremiah doesn't look all that friendly. (At least he didn't shun her, like Fredbird did to our nephew Matt years ago in St. Louis).
I am not sure and I don't have the energy to burn the calorie to look it up, but I believe this is Nancy's first Friendly Encounter appearance with a person (even if it is a person in a giant frog costume).
