On the Beat David Della Rocco at the 2012 MCCC

In The Boondock Saints (1999), two brothers accidentally kill a couple mafia members, turn themselves in and are hailed as heroes.  Seeing this as a sign from God, they start killing other mafia members.  It is a highly underrated film.
It is also the film in which David Della Rocco played Rocco, his most well known role.  He has done a handful of other roles and is currently working on Dead in 5 Heartbeats, which is written and directed by Jeff Santo, son of baseball Hall of Famer Ron Santo.  It is based on the novel of the same name by Sonny Barger.  We talked to David about both of those roles in the interview below.
We really appreciate David for giving us his time.  He had a lengthy line throughout the convention.  The Boondock Saints is a big hit with the comic con crowd and his line showed that.  Still, he was kind enough to give us a bit of his time.  Also, thanks to his staff for helping to facilitate this interview.
After you watch the interview below, please be sure to check out DavidDellaRocco.com and the David Della Rocco Facebook page to learn all about this interesting actor and to get updates.  Also, go to the Dead in 5 Heartbeats Facebook page to get updates on that upcoming film.
