On the Beat with Len Kasper of the Chicago Cubs

The Cubs Len Kasper is one of the coolest and best broadcasters.  The team of Kasper and Bob Brenly keep things interesting for fans, even when the action on the field is not so interesting.  JohngysBeat.com's Contributor Extraordinaire Matt Parker was eager to add Kasper to his list of interviews.
Kasper is a big music fan.  It didn't surprise us that Kasper named the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco (CA) as one of his favorite areas.  There is quite a lot of musical history there, including the house where the Grateful Dead lived for a few years in the 1960's.
Kasper was very nice during our interaction.  Like Brenly, I am sure Kasper was busy trying to prepare for the broadcasts, but he gave us his time and some good thoughts and answers.  We really appreciate his time.
Below is the interview with Kasper.  Be sure to stay tuned here for more interviews from our Houston roadtrip.  Also, check out Travel Favorites of Baseball Greats, the online piece I wrote for Global Traveler magazine featuring all of the players, coaches and broacasters we interviewed on this roadtrip.
