On the Beat with Stretch Suba of the Houston Astros

Stretch Suba just completed his 36th year with the Houston Astros organization.  That includes one year of playing with the Astros Rookie League team.  We have seen Suba many times during our trips to Minute Maid.  We finally got the chance to talk to him on the record about travel and baseball.
I love men like Suba.  He is a baseball lifer and all with the same organization.  That type of longevity and two-way loyalty is a rarity.  Suba is a rarity and he is well-respected and loved by the organization and the fans.
