Renee Witterstaetter does it all. She is an author, an editor, a color artist, a publisher and more. She is a big name in the comic industry and she is one of the most popular guests at any comic con. Such was the case at the Motor City Comic Con 2015, where she was consistently busy meeting fans, doing commissions and talking to the press.
Fortunately, I fit in the "press" category and I talked to Renee for a few minutes. Despite being in high demand, Renee was warm and engaging. She seemed genuinely appreciative of her fans and downplayed her success and place in comic history.
Renee has worked in some form or another on She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Superman, Conan the Barbarian, Spiderman, The Avengers and more. She is living the dream of many young comic readers!
