On the Beat with Chicago Bandits Manager Mike Steuerwald-2015 #2

The Johngy's Beat and Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the 2015 Chicago Bandits brings us back to Manager Mike Steuerwald.  Coach Stu made his return to the Bandits bench this season and he is making his return to Johngy's Beat today.
Coach Stu's return has been very successful.  He took over a team in transition.  A few trades resulted in a team built on speed, defense and pitching.  That's not a bad foundation, especially when Monica Abbott is your ace on the mound.
The Bandits finished in 2nd place behind the USSSA Pride.  They will face the 3rd place Akron Racers in the NPF playoffs this weekend.  Those games are available on the CBS Sports channel.
The playoffs are being held in Hoover, AL.  Unfortunately, the Johngy's Beat crew could not make that trip.  The NPF playoffs will be held in an undetermined location next year and we hope it is closer to our home base, because we want to be there.
In the interview below, we talked to Coach Stu about the unfortunate collapse of the Dome and the future of the programs there.  We also talked about the season, Monica's incredible season, the playoffs and much more.
It has been a pleasure covering the Bandits all season.  Coach Stu has been great to us and we are already excited about the 2016 season.  First things first though.  Let's win the 2015 NPF championship!
