On the Beat with Vicky Galasso of the Chicago Bandits 2015

Today, the Johngy's Beat and Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the 2015 Chicago Bandits features rookie catcher Vicky Galasso.  Vicky joined the Bandits via an open tryout.
Vicky had a stellar career at Idaho State, where she was the 2013 and 2015 Big Sky Conference MVP.  As a senior, she reached base in 41 straight games.  After earning her spot on the Bandits, she became the first player from the Big Sky Conference to play in the NPF.
In 25 at bats this season, Vicky is hitting .240 with one home run and three rbi's.  With Taylor Edwards getting the majority of playing time behind the plate, Vicky has done well in her role.
In our interview, we talked about her transition to the pro league, handling the pitchers and much more.
After you watch the video, head to ChicagoBandits.com for more info and updates.  There are only a handful of home games left.  Check out the Bandits while you can!
