On the Beat With Emily Allard of the Chicago Bandits 2016

After a stellar career at Northwestern, Emily Allard was drafted 12th overall in the 3rd round of the 2014 NPF Draft by the Chicago Bandits.  As she enters her third season with the Bandits, Emily is proving to be a star in the NPF (National Pro Fastpitch).
In her first season, she was named to the 2014 All-NPF Team.  Last season, she her 51 hits were tops on the team, aswere her 12 stolen bases.  She was also perfect in the field with 53 putouts.
As impressive as she is on the field, she is even more so off the field.  She is one of the most popular and fan-friendly players.  As you will hear in our interview, Emily is very devoted to the Bandits fans, especially the young ones.  She has even started BeTheMomentum.com to help and teach the youth about the power of slap-hitting.
Emily is a great role model, along with being a great player.  With the loss of Monica Abbott, Tammy Williams and Amber Patton, Emily is poised to be one of the leaders and faces of the organization.  You could not ask for a better ambassador to the great sport.
After you watch our interview, head over to ChicagoBandits.com for all of the info on Emily and the Bandits.  I am sure you'll enjoy it all, just like I do.
