This is a regular series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today, we continue working our way alphabetically through Major League Baseball.
Actor Tom Bosley was born in Chicago, IL, a fact which earned some playful booing when he was introduced at Miller Park on Happy Days Day. Unfortunately, the man who portrayed the beloved Mr. C. on the throwback television series died in 2010. His lengthy career allows us to go way back for his Celebrity Jersey Card.
Actress Marion Ross might be best known for playing opposite Bosley as Mrs. C. on
Happy Days. Like Bosley, her career stretches way back, allowing us to do another classic Celebrity Jersey Card. Fortunately, as of this writing, Ross is still alive and well at the age of 88.
