Cuzz Gekas and I met Sandahl Bergman at Days of the Dead last year. Once again, Days brought in a great guest who hadn't done many appearances.
We had the pleasure of talking at length to Sandahl. Among her thoughts on co-stars, she talked glowingly about working with (one of our all-time favorites) Rowdy Roddy Piper in Hell Comes To Frogtown. She described him as kind, funny and a bit crazy, exactly how we knew him.
She talked about meeting her fans and spending real time with them at these events. She backed up her talk by actually spending quality time with every fan who approached her. Of course, it made her line move slowly, but nobody complained, because everyone got a real interaction with her.
Sandahl was one of the real highlights of Days of the Dead Indy 2016. I'm looking forward to more gems this year. Check out DaysoftheDead.net for more info on this horror con.
