Actress Caroline Williams earned her spot in the hearts of horror fans with her role in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series. She also earned a place at horror conventions, such as Days of the Dead.
I had the pleasure of meeting Williams a couple years ago at DotD in Schaumburg. Most fans there wanted to talk to her about her role as Vanita 'Stretch' Brock and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series in general, despite a lengthy career on television and on the big screen. Such is life when you appear in an iconic production. Fortunately, Williams embraced her role and happily talked about her part, her co-stars, the lasting effect and all other TTCM topics.
Williams was a great guest at DotD. As usual, she was joined by many other great celebrity guests and DotD. This convention continually brings in special guests. The celebrities seem to really enjoy being there and the fans always have a great time.
The next DotD is November 18-20 in Schaumburg (Chicago), IL. As usual, I will be "On the Beat" at Days and I'll report back here and on Patch.com. You can get all the information, including guests and scheduling at DaysoftheDead.com.
