Friendly Encounters is a weekly series featuring my friends who have met celebrities.
Today, I feature my Ace Photographer Jack Keenan with actress Loni Anderson at Wizard World Chicago last year.
Loni looked absolutely fantastic, especially for being 71. Jack looked ok, too, but he's nowhere near 71.
Better yet, Loni was very gracious and fan friendly. We talked about her time on television's WKRP in Cincinnati, as well as other roles she has had, such as her first role, acting in Nevada Smith with Steve McQueen.
Loni has been a spokesperson for COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). She has also worked to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, which her daughter battles.
As usual, Jack did awesome camera work at Wizard World. For a rare instance, he also went on the other side of the lens for this picture with Loni. Smart move, Jack!
