Flashback Weekend is taking over Rosemont from Friday, August 3 through Sunday, August 5. Because of this, I am featuring some of my greatest memories from my many years of attending Flashback Weekend.
Neve Campbell rose to fame on tv's Party of Five. She also starred in the Scream film series. Most recently, she was a regular on tv's House of Cards.
I had been a fan of hers for a long time and then I read that one of her first acting jobs was in a commercial for Coke! I think I fell in love with her then.
Cuzz and I had the opportunity to meet Campbell at Flashback Weekend a couple years ago. She was so incredibly sweet. Despite having a long line, she made sure to make a connection with every fan. She also stepped away from her table to take pictures. She wanted the pictures to be better for the fans. That little gesture earned her so much praise all weekend. It might not seem like a big deal, but with several hundred fans there to see her, her time is limited, yet she did what she could to improve the experience for all.
Flashback Weekend always has great stories like this. I always look forward to covering this great event.
