Cards That Never Were: Norris Weese Topps 1977-'80

Cards That Never Were is a recurring series in which I create virtual trading cards for players missed in various sets. It is a concept I have borrowed from far too many to list, but I appreciate all of their efforts. Many creations (not just baseball) of others can be found on the Custom Baseball Cards Facebook group.
Norris Weese succeeded Archie Manning at Mississippi. He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 4th round of the 1974 NFL draft, but opted to play with the Hawaiian Islanders in the World Football League. Weese played in the NFL with the Denver Broncos from 1976-'79. His highlight was relieving Craig Morton in Super Bowl XII and led a bit of a comeback, before ultimately losing. For his NFL career, Weese played 57 games, starting seven. He threw for 1,887 yards, with a 57% completion percent with seven TDs and 14 INTs.
For his efforts, Weese did not get any Topps cards. Lynn, of the previously mentioned FB group, created the '80 card and I filled in the other gaps. I made two '77 versions, because I couldn't decide which picture was better, although neither was great. I think the '77 cards even bend the time continuum, but I cropped them enough to eliminate any time identification,
