Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, I continue a season-long march alphabetically through all MLB teams.
Radio personality Steve Dahl was born in California, but rose to fame in the midwest. It was in Chicago that Dahl might have reached the pinnacle of his success. He orchestrated Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park, a night that saw thousands of disco albums (and much of the playing field) blown up. It was such chaos, the Sox forfeited the second game of the doubleheader. While Dahl did get criticized for the stunt, it also propelled him into even more fame. All was well with Dahl and the Sox as he threw a ceremonial pitch earning his Celebrity Jersey Card.
