Blizzard Brawl returns to Waukesha, Wisconsin December 7. As usual, Al Snow will be one of the wrestling legends. That also means his lovely bride Jessica will be there.
I have known Al for many years, having first interviewed him at Wizard World, followed by several interviews. It is always a fun time around Al, even when he tries punching me. Of course, he always holds back, but his laughter flows when he sees the pictures.
Not nearly as violent (although she did turn heel on my once), his wife Jessica is equally a pleasure to meet. Somehow over the years, I guess I wore her down, because she always greets me with a huge smile and warm hug. She is a real sweetheart. Al really outkicked his coverage with Jessica. (I borrowed a page from the Mick Foley book of Al insults on that one.)
While the packed house will seek their favorite wrestling legends, I will always look for Jessica. I am proud to call her a friend and I love catching up with her.
Headlining the wrestler lineup are WWF legends Wendy Richter and Jacqueline, but there are a lot of other legends and stars. Despite the large roster of guests and regular wrestlers, there is always plenty of time to meet everyone. Blizzard Brawl is well-run and organized by #Superfriend David Herro and his staff.
I will be there "On the Beat" as usual and I hope to see a lot of my friends there, too. For more info, go to GLCWWrestling.com and check here for my coverage.
